In the beginning of November, three members of our seagrass team travelled to Wales to participate in the second\u00a0UK Seagrass Symposium\u2014a valuable and inspiring gathering of professionals, researchers, and students dedicated to seagrass restoration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The symposium provided an excellent opportunity to reconnect with long-standing partners, build new collaborations, and learn about the wide range of restoration initiatives underway across the United Kingdom. The presentations and discussions highlighted the strong international commitment to restoring coastal ecosystems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the end of the event, we visited the Project Seagrass nursery<\/strong>, where impressive developments have taken place since our last visit in 2024.
