It was encouraging to observe that the\u00a0Zostera marina\u00a0plants established earlier this year are developing well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To further explore the potential of\u00a0seed-based subtidal seagrass restoration, we carried out a seeding experiment and tested\u00a0prototype #3 of our underwater seeding machine. This prototype is an adaptation of our intertidal seeding model and has been specifically modified for use in subtidal environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We were joined by two representatives from\u00a0ARK Rewilding Netherlands, with whom we visited the seagrass plots established at this site since 2022 and exchanged insights on marine restoration practices.
