Seagrass Seeding Machine appears in paper as most efficient method for intertidal seed-based seagrass restoration

Earlier this year, our colleagues at Project Seagrass and Swansea University / Prifysgol Abertawe published an article in Ecological Engineering on the mechanization of seagrass restoration. It is wonderful to see our seagrass seeding machine (referred to as ‘DIS Wheel’) included in their research, showing that it is the most efficient method for intertidal seed-based seagrass restoration that was included in their research.

The paper was published right in the middle of our fieldwork season in May 2025, but we are delighted to take a moment now to share this recognition and celebrate the continued collaboration and innovation that drives seagrass restoration forward.
